An elegant structure that gives rhythm to the space. The vertical posts draw the eye upwards, inviting visitors to admire the wooden roof of an ancient building. A measured sense of verticality respects and enhances the grandeur of the existing architecture, becoming an integral part of its history.
The structure follows the irregular walls; the wooden elements create a harmonious interplay of solid and void; the light highlights the materials and imperfections; the aluminium, with a simulated Corten steel finish, establishes a dialogue between the old and the new.
